Darcy Wain is an exciting emerging performer in the Australian theatre industry. A 2024 Graduate of Music Theatre at Elder Conservatorium of Music (ECMT), Darcy will be making his professional debut as Seth in ‘Kimberly Akimbo’ with State Theatre South Australia & Melbourne Theatre Company in 2025. Darcy’s ECMT credits include Lord Farquaad in ‘Shrek The Musical’ (dir. Erin James), Annas / US Jesus & Judas in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ (dir. George Torbay), Theodore ‘Laurie’ Laurence in ‘Little Women’ (dir. Erin James), and US Anthony Hope and Adolfo Pirelli in ‘Sweeney Todd’ (dir. James Millar).While studying, Darcy also performed in the Australian Ballet’s production of Swan Lake at Sydney Opera House (dir. David Hallberg) and State Theatre Company of South Australia/State Opera of South Australia’s season of ‘Candide’ (dir. Amy Campbell & Mitchell Butel).
