Ava McClean, a 2024 graduate of Actors Centre Australia, hails from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Over three years of intensive training, Ava honed her craft in voice, movement, accents, stagecraft, and text analysis, guided by some of the industry’s finest. Dedicated and versatile, she brings authenticity and depth to every role she tackles on stage and screen.
A self-proclaimed “jack of all trades,” Ava combines her background as a national rowing champion and surfer with a strong work ethic, enabling her to excel in physically demanding roles. Beyond acting, she has developed skills in videography and photography, leveraging her talents to market productions she has worked on.
At ACA, Ava performed a wide range of roles, including Yelena (Uncle Vanya), Anya (The Cherry Orchard), Linda (Stags and Hens), Juliet (Romeo and Juliet), Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), and Davey (Jerusalem). With a passion for storytelling and uncovering emotional truths, Ava is ready to take on any challenge and bring it to life.
